Palantir Frontend Engineer

The main area of competence include Product & Application Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Security & Managed Services and AI & Data Enablement.  

 

Summary: An Engineer focused on building and iterating front-end workflows and applications on Palantir Foundry and AIP for operational AI use cases in insurance.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Build and maintain UI workflows and front-end components on Foundry/AIP to support:

  •  Submission intake and triage.
  • Exposure management (Statement of Values intake, risk modeling).
  • Global submission intake and clearance flows.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and ontology engineers to connect front-end components to underlying data models and APIs.

Implement client-facing workflows that integrate with:

  • Pricing tools.
  • Policy administration systems.
  •  Other internal front-end and policy systems (via APIs).
  • Participate in agile ceremonies across three squads (client internal squad, platform provider squad, and our vendor squad).
  •  Ensure high UX quality and responsiveness, focusing on production-ready delivery rather than prototypes.

 

Must have: 

  • 3–5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years building solutions on Palantir Foundry and/or AIP (front-end workflows, applications, and/or operational tools).
  • Strong front-end development skills (e.g., React/TypeScript or similar), even if abstracted inside Palantir’s UI frameworks.
  •  Proven track record implementing production-grade workflows on Foundry/AIP involving multiple source systems.
  • Ability to work with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical implementations.

 

Nice to have: 

  •   Experience in Property & Casualty insurance and/or London Market.
  • Familiarity with underwriting, risk modeling, or exposure management processes.
  • Experience integrating Foundry/AIP applications with existing policy or pricing platforms.
