Summary: A senior engineer/architect acting as both technical lead and squad lead, responsible for solution architecture, technical decisions, and coordination with the client’s and platform provider’s squads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own overall technical design for the vendor squad’s scope on Foundry/AIP:
- Exposure management PoC → production.
- Extensions to additional lines of business.
- Submission intake and clearance workflows where in scope.
- Define and enforce technical standards, patterns, and best practices across the two FE engineers:
- Ontology usage patterns.
- Workflow design.
- Integration patterns with downstream/adjacent systems.
- Coordinate with:
- Client A’s internal squad (business and technical owners).
- Platform provider’s (Palantir-like) squad.
- internal engagement/AE for planning and reporting.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritization from a technical perspective.
- Lead technical workshops and demos with the client.
- Ensure security, performance, and reliability of solutions going into production.
Must-Have Experience:
- 5–10+ years of engineering experience delivering production data/AI/analytics solutions.
- 3+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry and/or AIP experience, including:
- Designing complex ontologies and workflows.
- Integration with multiple enterprise systems (≥5 data sources).
- Proven track record of leading implementations end-to-end: from discovery and PoC through to production deployment.
- Strong communication skills; able to interface with both business stakeholders and senior technical counterparts.
Nice-to-Have:
- Prior leadership of squads in multi-party environments (client + platform provider + vendor).
- Insurance domain experience (especially exposure management, underwriting, or submissions).
- Experience establishing ways of working (agile ceremonies, governance, release processes) across distributed teams.
